Choral Festival Concerts were a fantastic success!
400 Rugby school children delighted their audiences with their wonderful singing in three concerts held over two days at the prestigious Temple Speech Rooms in Rugby. To see so many children so happily engaged in singing together was a sight to behold and SO good for the soul!
Let’s have MORE of this.
Choral Festival Concerts 11th & 12th July

….will see KS1 singers from Rugby’s rural cluster schools taking to the stage at the Temple Speech Rooms, where they will sing a programme of 6 songs.
Monday 11th July:7pm
….will see KS2 rural cluster primary schools’ singers coming together to perform songs from ‘Oliver!’ again, at the Temple Speech Rooms.

The children get so much from experiences like these. Let’s hope we get the opportunity to do many more in the future.
I also work for Warwickshire County Music Service as a Choral Animateur. As such I provide inspirational, shared and wide-ranging musical experiences, pathways for pupils and students to reach their vocal potential.
This varied job ranges from teaching singing peripatetically in local secondary schools to delivering ‘Feel The Buzz’, a ten-week programme of songs to whole KS1 and KS2 groups at a time at local primary schools.
From September, weekly singing lessons will be available to both children and adults alike, organised through the East Area Music Centre.
