Gillian last performed with internationally- renowned vocal coach David Harper in concert on 12th November 2005, in The Recital Room at Peter Symond's College, Winchester.

Gillian and David gave a unique programme of classical music inspired by the theme of 'Women & Love', including works by Mozart, Bellini and Hahn. The programme explored the emotions of women and love.

Over the last ten years, David has frequently taken time off from his schedule as vocal coach to classical stars such as Barbara Bonney and Olaf Baar to accompany Gillian in intimate recitals before a devoted and loyal following.

'Women & Love' was the most recent culmination of a professional and personal friendship  which has embraced both Gillian's technical development as a performer and her personal  tragedy - in 2001 David and Gillian collaborated on 'A Celebration for Alice ', a live recording in memory of Gillian's youngest daughter, who died that year of Leukodystrophy.

The Recital was a unique and insightful musical exploration of Love by two exceptional classical performers.
