On the evening of 19th October 2002 Gillian and David presented a varied recital programme at the Methodist Church in Chandler's Ford.

This, their sixth concert appearance together since 1995, began with a segue of songs by Noel Coward, George Gershwin and Cole Porter, before offering further songs and arias in english, german, french, latin and italian by composers Purcell, Schubert, Schumann, Strauss, Chausson, Fauré, Debussy, Mozart, Handel, Caccini, Giordani and Parisotti.

The range of music was enriched further by the inclusion of a selection of traditional folk songs from both the British Isles and America and concluded with the unusual and beautiful aria'Ain't It a Pretty Night' from the opera 'Susannah' by american composer, Carlisle Floyd.
